If you’re considering a hinterland wedding and looking for an alternative to a clear marquee reception, we recommend you check out Sperry Tents Byron Bay. Their beautiful handcrafted sailcloth tents with sweeping canopy structures come in a variety of sizes and styles. They have a really light and airy feel with architectural roof lines creating the perfect blank canvas to manifest something truly stunning and personalised for your wedding day.

We have come up with some of our favourite set-ups to showcase just how versatile these awesome structures can be! Here are some styling concepts that showcase some of our favourite colour palettes, furniture hire ranges, table details and more!

MODERN HAMPTONS

We love the elegant, clean, crisp and fresh look of this classic style that never dates.

Create this look by using layers of crisp whites working from the base up including your tables and chairs, also theming this with white cocktail furniture. Keep the table settings simple and minimal and add layers of navy blue for the classic Hamptons style. To complement the look, we recommend adding elements of lush green foliage vines entwined around the posts with hints of fresh white floral installations. Add lots of sparkle to provide contrast and ambience with a full fairy light treatment in the roofline of the Sperry Tent.

HINTERLAND BOHEME

Toying with having a more rustic-inspired wedding? Work with darker tones of walnut timbers and bamboo, as you contrast with pops of colour in berry tones and brass elements. These details work beautifully together to create an elegant bohemian rustic vibe. Sculptural hanging florals complete the look with a mix of Edison and fairy lights to create a warm and enchanting ambience.

COASTAL LUXE

A modern and romantic style with a coastal luxe vibe. Perfect for couples that wish to create a really charming setting. Think hints of raffia elements, light blush, natural white, glitzes of gold, neutral tones and timber textures.

White tables and chairs with subtle raffia elements are the base of this look. Textural floral installations incorporating a soft, pastel colour palette with hints of gold will take it to the next level. Continue the theme across the table settings with white and gold cutlery, crystal cut glassware, clusters of candles and sculptural table flowers.  Finish the look with a starry filled sky by dressing the marquee ceiling in a full fairy light treatment to create all the sparkle for a celestial vibe!

PLANTATION STYLING

This new take on tropical styling is a popular one in Byron Bay. One of our signature creations for the 2019 Byron Bay Wedding Fair, the colour scheme is inspired by nature. Think earthy timbers, natural rattans, added hints of gold and black/darker tones of green which all work together beautifully for a botanical style wedding. The darker rattan textures add a warmer tone to the overall colour scheme and really pop when set against a white table setting and light-filled airy backdrop that a Sperry Tent provides. Add some epic sculptural foliage by Big Leaf Boutique to create a stunning statement backdrop.
