We had the pleasure of styling Zoe and Angus's wedding at the stunning Forget Me Not wedding venue in Byron Bay, and we're so excited to share the journey with you. Our process is a magical one, taking a couple's initial ideas and transforming them into a beautiful, cohesive concept that perfectly reflects their love story.

The Initial Consultation

The first step in our styling journey is a virtual consultation. This is where we get to know the couple and understand their vision for their wedding day. For Zoe and Angus, this first meeting was a breeze—they came prepared with a Pinterest board and a lot of great ideas, which is the perfect place for us to start! We love when a couple is excited and full of inspiration, as it helps us begin to shape the overall aesthetic and create a refined concept.

Inspiration for Each Space

With the overall vision established, we dove into the details, creating meticulous inspiration mood boards for every single space and moment of their wedding day. This included the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception tablescapes, and even a Veuve Bar. We presented furniture, lighting, and decor options for every stage of the day, from arrival to departure, over a series of months.

Furniture Options

After confirming the vision for each space, we began the real work - presenting furniture, lighting and decor options for every moment from arrival to departure with four different concept boards over a series of months.

Collaborating with Vendors

Once the furniture, decor, and lighting were finalized, we worked with Zoe and Angus to select key vendors, including their florist, marquee provider, and plant hire company. We also reached out to all other decorative-related vendors, such as stationery providers and cake makers, to share our styling plans and ensure every element aligned with the overall vision.

The Final Details

As the big day approached, we collaborated with Zoe and Angus's wedding planner from Byron Bay Weddings. Together, we confirmed all the final details with the vendors, including the bump-in and bump-out schedule and the final venue plan, which included a wet weather contingency. This meticulous planning ensures a seamless and stress-free wedding day.

The Wedding Day

On the wedding morning, our head stylist and the On-the-Day Coordinator from Byron Bay Weddings worked together to oversee the entire setup. The furniture arrived, the marquee was erected, lighting was installed, florals were placed, stationery was laid out, signage was hung, and pillows were fluffed. It was a seamless collaboration with all the incredible vendors to ensure every detail was perfect.

The final result was a beautiful and unforgettable wedding day, with a stunning ceremony, a lively cocktail hour, and a reception that was truly breathtaking. It was an absolute pleasure bringing Zoe and Angus's dream wedding to life!
