Winter Venue Open Day at The Earth House
We created this look to balance the venue’s architectural warmth, characterised by its textured rammed-earth walls and soaring timber beams, with a sophisticated, crisp palette. Long, banquet-style dining tables are paired with classic oak timber cross-back chairs, bringing a grounding, earthy charm into the space. In contrast, the lounge and cocktail areas introduce a clean, modern edge. Low-profile white sofas accented by deep olive-and-white striped cushions provide a cosy breakout space indoors, while minimalist, round white cocktail tables and sleek white bar stools on the verandah offer front-row seats to the spectacular view.
The tables themselves are dressed in heavy white linen and styled with earthy olive-green napkins draped effortlessly over white ceramic dinner plates, complemented by warm brushed-gold cutlery and modern minimalist glassware. The floral design leans heavily into an organic, overgrown, and architectural feel, featuring a cascading installation at the bridal table bursting with crisp white lilies, delicate tulips, Queen Anne’s lace, and a lush variety of trailing ferns. In a beautiful nod to the winter season, fresh, whole green and Bosc pears are scattered thoughtfully along the tabletops and station displays.
The true magic of the space lies in its lighting; with a roaring fireplace as the focal point, the room glows under the soft light of oversized white lanterns, tall taper candles encased in glass cylinders, and small, scalloped gold table lamps. The final result is a seamless fusion of refined elegance and cosy, modern earthy comfort, perfectly curated for a winter celebration.
